Yvonne celebrated her 16th birthday today, first with a few friends (she's hugging her host sister, Julia) at Shalimar, an Indian restaurant in the 6th district of Vienna. After a five hour train journey from Prague, we arrived this evening and raced to the celebration. As I upload these photos from tonight's Shalimar dinner, she’s already at a club where it’s definitely not cool to be anywhere beyond 30 years old, having her first bona fide drink (I'm guessing Sex on the Beach) and being inducted into the nightlife of Vienna.Happy Birthday, Yvonne!
